Meet Marloeshi - and Mieps the Guinea Pig!
Marloeshi (https://www.deviantart.com/marloeshi) is the first Interviewee for our series focusing on Photographers here on DeviantArt. She's twenty one years old and is a photographer based in The Netherlands in a small town near Eindhoven. She has been experimenting with Photography since she was around sixteen years old and got her first DSLR for her Birthday. Like many of us, she messed around (her words!) for the first few years and experimented to find her 'style' but in the last two or three years she nailed it and now has a gallery full of absolutely beautiful works. Marloeshi (https://www.deviantart.com/marloeshi)'s work spans a wide range of sub-galleries here on DeviantArt including Still Life, Anim

Tell us a bit about yourself, burningmonk (https://www.deviantart.com/burningmonk). How did you get into photography and why? Photography is easy to get into, so I started young, maybe around 12 or so, though I didn't take it very seriously for many years. It wasn't until I had been living in Tokyo for a year that I took it on as a serious hobby. I arrived in Japan in late 2008 and by the end of 2009 I hadn't really gotten out and about much. My creative pursuits at the time (writing and digital art) kept me at home a lot. Buying a camera was meant as way to instigate more excursions into the city. That

Hello Everyone!
Let's warmly welcome...

How did you get into photography?
Basicially it was my father who made me pick up a camera. When I was 12 my brother and I both got a little squarish digital polaroid camera for Christmas, with which I took my first pictures. After a few years I got a DSLR, the Canon 1100D but sadly it didn't last very long. Due to it's plastic body, humidity got inside of it and it died this year in March. Since April I shoot with the Canon 60D.
Which piece from your gallery are you most proud of, and why?
I think I'll got with "Catcher" which actually surprises me myself because I

asainemuri (https://www.deviantart.com/asainemuri):
For my doll photography, I would say real life events and experiences inspire me the most. I tend to put a lot of myself in my photos. Whether it's a situation I've been in, or an emotion I've felt (or fee

I play drums and guitar, but I'm not in a band anymore. I played drums for 15 years in some rock bands when I was younger.
I wasn’t interested in photography when I was a kid. Drawing, painting, writing and music were my hobbies. I just took some photographs every now and then. I got my f

Tell us a bit about yourself, catch---22 (https://www.deviantart.com/catch---22). How did you get into photography and why? My first experience with a camera was my Grandfather's original Polaroid Land Camera, Model 95. It was this big clunky, square lined thing with bellows that protected the light chamber. when not in use it all folded up in to a nice little rectangle with classic 1950's industrial design look. The flash socket for flash bulbs unfolded like a satellite... and yes, it used flash bulbs I was around 5 and it was like magic to me. It used a self developing film. My Grandfather would set u
